Hello, new friend! My name is Emily Garganera (soon to be Hamel – woot woot!) and I am a Professional organizer and efficiency consultant. I grew up wanting order and structure in all areas of my life. 99% of the time I have a To-Do list going and I find comfort in having a paper planner (there is something appealing about being able to write with a pen and paper). I was the student who loved desk clean out days and had the most organized locker. I was the daughter who cleaned their room for fun and implemented weekly counter clean ups in our house. So as I got older I knew being organized and neat was a strength of mine. Family and friends always told me I should come over and help them ‘get organized’, so deciding to start a business doing just that was an easy decision.
Now that term “Get Organized” has a lot of meanings. I believe there are three main ones; we can be mentally organized, our schedule can be organized and our possessions can be organized. I think to achieve perfect organization all three must be in line, the trifecta. But hey, we’re human. Sometimes life happens and we get out of wack and that just isn’t feasible. However, setting yourself up to have a fighting chance – that we can control. And that’s where Optimal Organization by Emily comes in. Let me take the stress out of being organized and help you to achieve the ultimate organized trifecta. I offer a variety of services to fit your needs in all stages of life. I meet with you, assess the space you want organized and create a plan of attack tailored to your specific needs. Organization looks different for everyone, so it is my goal to make it work for you. Emily has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University. There she learned how valuable organization can be in being productive.
