My Story

I used to think that organization was obvious. Growing up, my parents never really had to tell me to clean my room. I thought keeping a clean & organized room was something every kid did. As I grew up I realized that was not the case. I saw it as my duty to share what comes so naturally to me.

I am more than a Professional Organizer. I am the person who can see the big picture when you can’t see past the current state. I bring your vision to life when you are blinded by the clutter. I am the person who gives you a clean slate and eliminates the overwhelm of getting organized.

The idea that I can change someone’s life with something that I love is empowering. I live for the face of my clients when they see the “after” of their space — it’s the look of realization that their dream is now their reality.

The term ‘organize’ and ‘organization’ are hot ticket buzzwords right now. This industry can be full of promises that if you do ‘this’ then ‘this’ will magically happen!! Take the tips you see on Pinterest or in magazines for instance. These are like little pieces of fabric. Your goal is to create an organized home, a full blanket. If you take these little pieces of fabric and just start sewing them together, you may find a blanket of mix-matched patterns and colors. 

Working with a professional organizer is like working with someone to make a blanket with cohesive patterns. You point out all the things you love about the little pieces of fabric (the things you see online or in magazines), and they find the fabric(s) that encompasses it all and gives you the complete blanket, or organized space you’ve been envisioning that works together.

Each time I go to work, what most people see as clutter, I see as opportunity. Clients are constantly telling me that I am a refreshing new set of eyes and how helpful it is to have someone to keep them on track and stay motivated throughout the process.

What I saw lacking from how this industry operates, and frankly my old services, was the education of how to KEEP things organized. It was my #1 question by a long shot! That is why I restructured my offerings. Now, everything I create promotes making it a lifestyle and creating the habit, not just a ‘quick fix’. Only then will it last.
